Conversely means something opposite or contrary. After going to a luau-themed party we took this picture. Everyone in the picture is smiling and looking at the camera, whereas my brother conversely covers his face with a cup of soda.
Infatuation means foolish or all-absorbing passion. After taking so many pictures with my bffs [:p], I started to look back at ourselves and I thought we looked a bit infatuated since we were making silly poses.

Enamored means to inspire with love and captivate. When I traveled to Japan, I was able to finally eat authentic Japanese food and it enamored me to try various types of Japanese foods aside from sushi. In this picture I was able to eat sashimi for the first time as well as a type of soup that Sumo wrestlers eat since I was in the Sumo District in Tokyo.
Acquiesce means to agree or consent. This picture was taken before Advisory Olympics which is an annual event held by our school where each advisory competes in various games to be the ultimate advisory. My advisory members suggested that we put blue paint on our faces to look fierce, but though I was a bit hesitant I acquiesced.
Inevitability means unable to be avoided, evaded, or escaped which exactly pertains to my family. You will not see me absent from school unless I'm very sick that I'd have to go to visit my doctor or for an academic purpose. In a nutshell, everyday when I wake up school is inevitable.
Awkward means lacking grace or ease in movement. Here is a picture of myself and a fellow campmate up on a high ropes course by UCSD. Since this was my first time experiencing a climb such as this I looked everything but graceful. I felt that I looked a bit awkward trying to find a way how to reach the top and eventually balance on a beam with my partner.
Futile means incapable of producing any result or ineffective. At my internship, SPAWAR Environmental, I work with a system called the Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, depicted above here. This system analyzes samples that I've prepared and sometimes when I do not the prepare the water samples correctly or contaminate them, I end up with futile results.
This picture shows a group of ballerina's on pointe. It can represent the word deleterious, in the way that the different positions they have to go through which can cause deleterious injuries to their feet. These injuries include: Athlete's foot, heel bruising, sprains, and stress fractures.
